Cornerstone - Speaking of Jesus Christ the Chief Cornerstone of the Kingdom of God. He is God revealed in flesh, Savior of the World, Lord of All, The Way, The Truth, The Life, The Living Word, The first and the last, the Coming one and the list goes on.
Family - A gathering where families are encouraged to function in their proper roles, where families worship together, pray together, sing together and fellowship together. A family where the family is upheld as God's basic building block for our society and plan.
Bible - The written Word of God given to us for our teaching, training and instruction in righteousness. The absolute authority given to man that is without error in its original writings. The basis for all of our teaching and instruction.
Church - A gathering that is "called out" of the worldly system of darkness to build each other up to do the work of the ministry. A gathering where families become family with each other. A church where we seek to love one another and God, where we seek to trust the Lord, where we seek to honor His name walking in humility, where we grow in His discipline and understanding . A gathering where each member is encouraged to personally grow, learn, share and participate in the areas of ministry where the Lord has enabled them to serve.
Who We Are:
We are a people who take serious the Word of God, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and confess Him as our Lord and Savior. We seek to grow and learn together, encourage each other, love others and reach out to the world around us with the great commission our Lord has given to us speaking the truth in love. We uphold the core doctrines of the Bible in both faith and practice.
We are a people who believe the primary responsibility to teach and raise our children is their own parents. Consequently we strongly encourage Home Schooling or Home based Schooling, but realize that there are those that can't for a variety of reasons.
Music - We enjoy singing and learning the great Hymns of the past as well as Scripture songs and contemporary choruses that teach us and give glory to the Lord. Those gifted and qualified in the area of music are encouraged to share in this ministry. We enjoy the Piano and/or acoustic guitar for our lead instruments.
Sunday School - Our members are encouraged to have Sunday School in their home, teaching their kids and share together during the day or meet with other couples or singles for small group Bible study. In other words, we believe in "Home Discipleship" by the parents as the ideal plan of God for
the family.
Youth Group - Our members are encouraged to look to the fathers (if present) as the primary youth leader of their home and lead them in the appropriate activities for their age. We encourage our members to get together as families for outings and recreation.
